Notes and Prerequisites:
For bachelor theses, you should have a basic understanding of economic concepts and statistical methods.
For master theses, you should additionally have a basic knowledge of econometrics (e.g., how to perform a regression analysis) and have attended one of the lectures we offer in the fields of applied agricultural economics or agribusiness management or an equivalent course in microeconomics, industrial economics or econometrics offered by other chairs.

Thesis guidlines at the department Management in Agribusiness
The seminar "Selected Problems of Agribusiness Management" provides a platform for students who write their final thesis at the department 410c to get support in addition to the daily supervision. Students can present and discuss (preliminary) results with supervisors and fellow students. Moreover, final presentation will be organized within this seminar. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain further knowledge and scientific skills in presentation techniques and methodological approach and to give an initial presentation (problem, objective, methodology and structure of the thesis) and final presentation (colloquium) of your scientific work (bachelor, master or doctoral thesis). In addition, you have the chance to discuss methodological questions or questions regarding the structure and form of your scientific thesis, your questionnaire, your interview, etc. and to receive direct feedback.
