Notes and Prerequisites:


For bachelor theses, you should have a basic understanding of economic concepts and statistical methods.
For master theses, you should additionally have a basic knowledge of econometrics (e.g., how to perform a regression analysis) and have attended one of the lectures we offer in the fields of applied agricultural economics or agribusiness management or an equivalent course in microeconomics, industrial economics or econometrics offered by other chairs.

Thesis guidlines at the department Management in Agribusiness

The seminar "Selected Problems of Agribusiness Management" provides a platform for students who write their final thesis at the department 410c to get support in addition to the daily supervision.

Participants will present the problem statement, objectives, methodology, and structure of their work in an initial presentation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to discuss questions regarding your methodology, questionnaire, interview guide, or similar issues, and receive direct feedback. Furthermore, the defense (final presentation and colloquium) of your thesis will take place within this framework.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge and scientific skills related to presentation techniques and methodological work.
